By accessing the Coventry Concrete website at coventryconcrete.com or by engaging us to perform any services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or engage our services. These terms apply to all visitors, customers, and others who access or use our website or services.
Coventry Concrete is a concrete contractor providing residential and commercial concrete installation and construction services in Coventry, RI and the surrounding area. Services include but are not limited to concrete driveways, patios, sidewalks, foundations, retaining walls, pool decks, steps, floors, and related concrete work. All services are subject to a written estimate and signed contract prior to commencement of work.
Written estimates provided by Coventry Concrete are based on information available at the time of the site visit and are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise stated in writing. Estimates are not binding contracts.
Final pricing may change if unforeseen site conditions are discovered during work - such as buried debris, unstable subsoil, or buried utilities not disclosed at the time of estimate. Any changes to the scope or price will be communicated to you in writing before additional work proceeds. We do not perform out-of-scope work without customer authorization.
Project start dates are estimates and may be affected by weather, material availability, or prior project completion. We will notify you of any scheduling changes as soon as reasonably possible.
Concrete work is weather-dependent. We will not pour concrete when temperatures are expected to drop below 40 degrees Fahrenheit within 24 hours of the pour, or during rain or other conditions that would compromise the quality of the work. We reserve the right to reschedule pours due to weather at no additional charge to you.
If you need to cancel or reschedule a confirmed project, please notify us as soon as possible. Cancellation terms, including any deposit considerations, will be stated in your individual contract.
Payment terms are outlined in your signed project contract. In general, a deposit may be required before work begins, with the remaining balance due upon substantial completion of the project. Specific amounts and timing will be stated in writing before work starts.
Accounts not paid in full by the due date stated in the contract may be subject to late fees and collection action. Coventry Concrete reserves the right to place a mechanics lien on the property in accordance with Rhode Island law if payment is not received after reasonable notice.
Where required by local ordinance, Coventry Concrete will obtain the necessary building permits before beginning work. Permit costs may be included in or added to your project estimate. You are responsible for ensuring your property complies with any homeowner association rules or deed restrictions that may affect the project. We are not responsible for violations arising from restrictions you did not disclose to us prior to the start of work.
Coventry Concrete stands behind the quality of its work. Any specific warranty terms will be stated in your project contract. In the absence of a written warranty, workmanship defects reported within one year of project completion will be reviewed and addressed at our discretion.
We are not responsible for damage caused by improper maintenance, use of ice melt or de-icing chemicals, vehicle loads exceeding the design of the slab, acts of nature, or conditions outside our control. Concrete is a natural material and minor surface variations, hairline cracking, and color inconsistencies are inherent characteristics, not defects.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Coventry Concrete shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to our services or your use of our website - even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from services we perform shall not exceed the amount you paid us for those specific services.

If a dispute arises between you and Coventry Concrete, we encourage you to contact us directly first so we can work toward a resolution. If we are unable to resolve the dispute informally, both parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing formal legal action. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking emergency injunctive relief from a court where appropriate.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Rhode Island, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
